Whyt Whey Commons - January 8, 2004 Attending: AEllin Anne Murphy Alexandre d'Avigne Jeff Berry Anne White Marge Whitehead Ervald Zorikh Lequidre Eularia Trewe Lorree True Jibril Dale Frederick Sancha Jessica Valadez Sean Sean Sullivan Tamara Tamara Bedic Tom Puppeter Tom Tafero Continuing Business: 1) February Commons will be at 552 RSD, on the 12th 2) Tamara has tentatively scheduled a sewing circle at her place on Staten Island for Jan 25th at 1PM. 3) A cooking/foodie get together was scheduled for Jan. 14th at Alexandre's. (Upstairs, not in the basement.) 4) A mention was made that the Medieval Supper Club seems to be getting started again. Officers Reports: 1) Knight Marshall: Jibril talked about possibilities for a year round fighter practice site - Union Square, although it has advantages, is only part of the year and outside. Anne White talked about the possibility of a school becoming available in the Bronx. Ervald mentioned that one outcome of the demos for the Brooklyn Childrens Museum might be space. (In either case, they would not be Whyt Whey sites, technically.) A visit had been made to PS191, 61st and Amsterdam, and although there was some problems with the space it had potential. Jibril is still looking into whether we can actually get the space. He also mentioned getting a database on the website of fighters, for Army organizational purposes. 2) Mistress of A&S: Tamara reported that although she found the person who bought all the period patterns, they don't want to sell them, so that was a dead end. The idea of putting pictures of some of our A&S stuff on the web was batted around and seemed like one that people liked. 3) Web Minister: Not in attendance, no report. 4) Exchequer: Data from the event was passed on to Sean who will get his report out as soon as possible. The BoD proposal to prohibit Barons/Baronesses from also holding the Exchequer post was mentioned, as was the fact that the BoD is inviting comments from the membership. Ervald said the check from the Fort Tryon demo had arrived and will go to Ian for deposit, for our credit. 5) Herald: Continue to submit to Sancha! 6) Seneschal: Mostly quiet. His quarterly was safely in on time. 7) Chronicler: The Cheesecloth is out. Send more stuff for By the Whey. We got another subscription. 8) Historian: Absent. No report.
