Ragland Glenn Bater Kathleen O'Connor Bater Continuing Business: 1) Commons in July will be on Tuesday the 13th at 6:30 at Medb's place. We'll try to keep it short so folks can get over to Union Square for Fighter Practice. There will be no Commons in August, due to Pennsic. For September, we will revisit the day for Commons. Mondays are bad for some people who thought they were good, but schedules change. Officers Reports: 1) Knight Marshall: Luis reported that Union Square is up and running both rattan and rapier. 2) Mistress of A&S: No report. 3) Web Minister: No report. 4) Exchequer: Medb as deputy reported that since we've got an event coming up, we should have more money soon. 5) Herald: No report. 6) Seneschal: Commons date has moved, again. 7) Chronicler: Eularia said the Cheesecloth would be available at Union Square on Tuesday. [Editors note: and it was.] 8) Historian: Elianne reported that she was getting Ervald to do some artwork for us, and then citing real life, asked if she could tender her resignation. She did so, thank you Elianne for your work. Recent Events: 1) Barren Sands was a good event for fighting and fencing. Anne mentioned that the EK Chorale met as well. 2) War of the Roses was fun, but cold and wet. 3) Llywellan went to BBM Birthday and got some good documentation on cloak fighting. 4) Quest in Swamp was also cold and wet, but also fun. 5) Brekke's sausage class was enjoyed very much by the Whyt Wheyvians who went. 6) The Deptford Players' Taming of the Shrew had a good turnout from the local SCA folk to see other local SCA folk. Upcoming Events: 1) Sewing Circle at Medb's is back on! June 30th at 6:45, and probably one more in mid/late July. 2) The date for the Ft. Tryon Demo is set, October 3rd. 3) There was some interest in doing a cooking thingie at Alexandre's on the topic of "Cooking for Many" since several folks may be doing that at Pennsic. Alexandre will try to schedule one for July sometime. Other Business: 1) AEllin talked about getting the Queen's Favors and it turns out that Anne Whyte is already making one.
